98 million 3G and 4G subscribers in Pakistan

The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority claims to have about 98 million 3G and 4G subscribers by the end of March of 2021, compared to 96.26 million by the previous year (PTA).

Compared to end-March 2018, the number of cell phone users in Pakistan increased by 1.93 million.

uFone G customers fell from 4.59 million to 4.5 million between February and March 31st. Within the end of February in 2021, the number of users who had signed up for 4G service had risen from 5.9 million to 6.05 million.

The number of TV sets connected to the cellular network rose from 84.02% at the end of February to 84.68% in March. By the end of March 2021, gross teledensity has risen from 85.81% to 85.81%

The PTA also received 103 complaints related to telephone services in March in the years between then and March of the following year, of which 95 were answered. While 337 complaints were made, 330 were satisfactorily handled by ISPs.
